  The entertainment space in recent years has become one for subterfuge in order to put one’s name out there and as they say, “stay relevant” despite what it takes. This can be linked to the Press Agentry model of Public Relations where organizations do whatever it takes to stay relevant. Not to skew away from the topic of discussion, entertainment provides people with joy, happiness and motivation to go on. Lyrics speak to people and gives them hope to continue moving on for there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Not to sideline the movie industry, movies, also a form of entertainment provides hope, teaches lessons and also provides motivation to others. Now to the issue at hand, as stated earlier, modern day entertainment has become one for subterfuge where most entertainers want to stay relevant no matter what it takes. Wendy Shay drops ‘Champions League’ song.

Wendy Asiamah Addo, popularly known as Wendy Shay has dropped a new song titled Champions League.  The Ruff Town records signee became the new favorite among Ghanaian music lovers after the sad demise of Ebony Reigns on 8th February 2018. Despite various criticisms that she was trying to copy the style of Ebony Reigns, she has come out stronger and silenced her critics.  Over the years, Wendy Shay has dropped hit songs such as; Wedding Day, Haters In Tears (HIT), Uber Driver, Pray for the World, Astalavista, The Boy is Mine among others.  In 2019, she won the Discovery of the Year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), and the Ghana Music Awards UK that same year.  Wendy Shay has dropped a new song titled Champions League which features; Fameye, Kofi Mole, Quamina MP and Kelvyn Boy.  The visuals to the video can be found on YouTube and the audio on all music platforms.  So far, the music video has gained 72,104 views on YouTube with 3.9k likes.  Below is the visual to Wendy S

Stonebwoy drops visuals to Putuu (Pray) remix.

  Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known in the entertainment industry as Stonebwoy has dropped visuals for his latest release, Putuu remix. Stonebwoy dropped visuals to his Putuu freestyle on July 20, 2020 and it gained massive views on YouTube. The song also gained massive airplays on radio as it became the new favorite among the people.  Stonebwoys Putuu was a song which gained a lot of criticisms as people said he was speaking gibberish. Stonebwoy releases new song to address the happenings in the country.

 Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known in the entertainment fraternity as Stonebwoy has released a new song to address the current happenings in the country.  The BET award winner in this latest release addressed how the country is being plundered into a state of economic woes.  Stonebwoy who was recently added to the new Grammy Academy member class didn’t disappoint as his lyrics touched on what is going on now and what might happen if the current situation is not fixed properly.  Recently Mohammed Kaaka, a social activist was beaten up by a mob after constant warning to stop addressing the happenings in Ejura, a suburb of the Ashanti Region.  After the death of Mohammed Kaaka, two more individuals have passed on and four more have been injured in Ejura after going out to demonstrate for the loss of Mohammed Kaaka.  The hardships going on in the country has awakened the youth to start a campaign on social media called fix the country. Shatta Wale trashes fans on social media for supporting fix the country campaign.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known in the music fraternity as Shatta Wale has thrashed Ghanaians supporting the fix the country campaign.  Fix the country campaign is an ongoing campaign on social media to create awareness and push our leaders for a better Ghana.  The country has been plundered into a state of economic woes where the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. Many youths are who complete school with good certifications but can’t gain jobs due to the set up of the system.  Yesterday, Mohammed Kaaka, a social media activist and a member of Ejura, a town in the Ashanti Region was attacked and killed by a mob after receiving several death threats that his awareness creation on social media about what is happening in Ejura is making the ruling party NPP unpopular in the region.  The initiator of fix the country agenda, Efia Odo has been called all sorts of names and many fingers has been pointed at her for starting this campaign. How many more will die? - Efia Odo shed tears after hearing about the death of Mohammed Kaaka.

  Andrea Owusu popularly known as Efia Odo has shed tears over the death of Mohammed Kaaka. Mohammed Kaaka, a member of Ejura in the Ashanti Region was a social media activist and a supporter of the Fix the country campaign - a campaign which aims to pressurize the leaders of Ghana to develop the country.  Mohammed Kaaka passed on in the early hours of today after being attacked by an angry mob at Ejura.  Mohammed Kaaka received several death threats that his activism was making the ruling party NPP unpopular among the people of Ejura. Despite this, Mohammed Kaaka stood firm and was still speaking about the problems in Ejura which led to his assassination.  Actress Efia Odo has added her voice to the incident and literally shed tears in a video she posted on her Facebook page.  The actress who also doubles as a television personality is the one who championed the fix the country agenda.  Earlier this week, she was arrested by the Ghana Police Service along with 14 other protesters for

 Valentintina Nana Agyeiwaa popularly known in the entertainment fraternity as Afia Schwarzenegger has descended heavily again on Twene Jonas and his family.   The media personality in an Instagram video could be heard calling Jonas and his family names. All hasn’t been well for the past week now as Afia Schwarzenegger threw subtle shots at Twene Jonas in a video she posted on Instagram. In the video, Afia was heard referring to someone living in America as homeless. Social media users were quick to link the shots at Twene Jonas since he’s the one who posts videos of himself walking on the streets in America.  Twene Jonas who is known for criticizing the government and firing them to fix the country was quick to make a live video in which he descended heavily on Afia Schwarzenegger.  In the video, the initiator of the popular catch phrase “glass nkoaaa” threw strong jabs at Afia Schwarzenegger calling her ugly among other things.
