Shatta Wale begs Ghanaian's to stream his latest song
Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known in the music circle as Shatta Wale has begged Ghanaians to stream his new song to enable it to gain international recognition.
The "African Dancehall King" recently released a new song titled Mansa Musa which has not gained enough recognition on the market. This has put Shatta Wale in a tight position which made him plead with Ghanaians to patronize his new song.
Shatta Wale who is known to be controversial among Ghanaians recently replied BET Award winner Sarkodie's "Advice", a reply which did not go down well with many music lovers.
The new song dubbed "Mansa Musa" features Jamaican Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel and is available for downloads.
Posting via his official Twitter handle, Shatta Wale pleaded with Ghanaians to focus more on pushing his new song to enable it to attain the heights it needs both locally and internationally.
He tweeted, "Guys lets focus more on Mansa Musa let stream and get to Billboard Wold Digital song chart or Reggae Digital Song Chart... "
Shatta Wale's post triggered a backlash from a couple of Twitter users with some saying the Dancehall artiste is self-conceited. Others also said Shatta always bragged saying he needs no awards and all he's after was money.
