You should be thanking me for dissing you - Sarkodie tells Asem.
Two time BET Award winner Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known in the music circle as Sarkodie has jabbed fellow rapper Asem in his latest song.
The song which was released few hours ago saw Sarkodie throw shots at former Lynx Entertainment signee Asem.
Sarkodie in his latest song dubbed 'Sub Zero' stated categorically that he was not going to reply some rappers because he sees them as irrelevant.
Sarkodie in his 2012 BET Cypher Flow became the first ever Ghanaian musician to be on the BER Hip Pop Awards Cypher.
In one of his Cypher Flow rhymes, Sarkodie said; ''I'm the missing ingredient.... Call me the Irish cream''
The line was however not given a warm welcome as some Ghanaians took to social media to lambast Sarkodie for referring to Irish cream as an ingredient.
Asem, who was not left out of that decided to school Sarkodie in his diss song 'Cypher Flow'.
Sarkodie however did not reply Asem's diss song despite being persuaded by his fans to do so.
Eight years down the road, Sarkodie finally decided to reply to Asem's 2012 diss song in his latest single dubbed 'Sub Zero'.
In the song, Sarkodie went hard at Asem with various punchlines that got everyone thinking.
In one of his punchlines, Sarkodie made it known to Asem that Asem should consider it a privilege for getting dissed by him.
Sarkodie said; ''Me yeyawu kwraaaa 3w) s3 wu b3 da ase'', which literally translates, "you should be thanking me for dissing you".
The song which was released twenty two hours ago has gained 197k views on YouTube and 16k likes.
The song was produced by AltraNova and is currently available for downloads.
