Barrenness is not an insult. It’s a reminder - Counselor Lutherodth speaks out.

George Lutherodth, popularly known as Counselor Lutherodth has commented on the saga between Selly Galley and one Instagram user called Henewaa Piese.

About a month ago, Ghanaian actress Selly Galley posted a picture on her Instagram page captioned, “No makeup no filter”. The Instagram lady who goes by the username @henewaa_piese2 commented, “Horror face n barren woman”.

This got Selly Galley emotional and she later poured out her pain through a post raining curses on the young lady.

This got a lot of social media users talking stating that the young lady went to the extreme in calling Selly Galley barren as a woman should not be reminded of her barrenness.

Controversial Ghanaian counselor, Counselor Lutherodth has added his voice to this issue.

The controversial counselor has however stated that the young lady did nothing wrong in calling Selly Galley ugly and barren.



Speaking on an Accra based radio station, Accra FM, Counselor Lutherodth stated that he sees Selly Galley to be a very beautiful lady and that’s his opinion.

He added that, the young lady only shared her opinion and Selly Galley should have taken it in good faith rather than showing how emotionally weak she is.

On the case of barrenness, when questioned by the presenter if the lady in question should have called Selly Galley barren, he stated that there was nothing wrong with that too.

Using the Holy Bible to support his claims, he stated that when Hannah was suffering from barrenness and was ridiculed by Peninah, Hannah petitioned to God for the fruit of her womb.

He also stated that, Hannah didn’t rain curses on Peninah neither did she insult her. Counselor Lutherodth also made it clear that Selly Galley didn’t go the right way by cursing the Instagram user.

The controversial counselor didn’t end there. He also defended the young lady stating that barrenness is not an insult but a reminder. 

He stated categorically that if Selly Galley was to have a child, she would showcase the child just as others are doing. 

He also added that Selly Galley should have been more matured in her approach rather than to rain insults via social media and display her emotional weakness.
