Thank God for Akuffo Addo, a President who listens - Queen Eshun

Ethel Esi Eshun, known in the entertainment fraternity as Queen Eshun has showered accolades on Nana Akuffo-Addo the President of Ghana.

Nana Akuffo-Addo who also serves as the Chairman of ECOWAS issued a statement yesterday to Nigerians concerning the ongoing brutalities which has led to the loss of many lives.

His Excellency Nana Akuffo-Addo remains the only African President who has spoken on the ongoing brutalities happening in Nigeria as all other African Presidents have been silent on the matter.

The Nigerian youths are currently battling with the Nigeria police for suppressing and brutalizing them because of ridiculous reasons such as driving a fancy car and wearing good clothes.

Many hashtags such as #EndSARSNow, #EndPoliceBrutalities, #NigeriansLivesMatter has been trending on various social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. 

Many Ghanaians have joined their fellow Nigerians to push these hashtags which are used to channel the grievances of the Nigerian youth to the world.

Yesterday, His Excellency Nana Akuffo-Addo sent out a message via his official Twitter page calling for calmness to reign in Nigeria.

The President tweeted,”I join all well-meaning persons in calling for calm, and the use of dialogues in resolving the #EndSARS impasse in Nigeria.

In another tweet, the President added that, “Violence cannot be the solution and sympathized with families who have lost their loved ones”.


Ghanaian artiste and Handcuff hit maker Queen Eshun has showered accolades on Nana Akuffo-Addo thanking God for giving Ghana a President who listens and takes actions in protecting lives under his governance.

Posting via her official Instagram page she said,”Thank You God for @nakufoaddo A president who listens and takes action and is swift in protecting lives under his governance”...

MzVee tops as Lynx artiste with most streamed video on YouTube.

Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, popularly known as MzVee has emerged as the Lynx Entertainment artiste with most streams on YouTube. The singer took the top spot beating fellow label mates Kuami Eugene and Kidi. The "Natural girl" joined the record label in 2011 and released smashing hits such as, Borkor Borkor, Rewind, Bend Down, Come and See My Mother, Daavi, among others. Her good music and efforts earned her a nomination at the BET Awards 2015 for the Best International New Artist' category. She also became the first female artiste from Ghana to earn that honor. Stonebwoy releases new song to address the happenings in the country.
